From Oolala! and Lola’s to Narcisse and Lumen, Jason Clark has been involved in the design and management of several of Chicago’s most famous restaurants and nightclubs. His creative vision has been highly sought after to launch venues that appeal to the City’s nightlife “in crowd.”
A student of the Art Institurte of Chicago, Clark specializes in the creation, design and implementation of fashionable, but long-lasting concepts.
At the legendary Chicago nightclub, Limelight, Clark learned the importance of creating an atmosphere of high theatrics that appealed to all of the diverse segments of Chicago’s nightlife population. More recently, at places such as Narcisse and Domaine, Clark was responsible for many of the design elements lauded in national and international design magazines. He has been a fixture at the door of Chicago’s most popular nightspots, including Y Bar, Cabaret and Lumen, catering to a sophisticated, diverse clientele and managing the evening’s excitement. In addition to his eye for design and guest relations, Clark created exceptional wine lists and dinner menus along the way at popular dining spots such as Alexander’s, Lola’s and Butterfield 8. His eye for style and considerable joie de vivre make him an integral part of the PROSECCO front of the house team.
In spring of 2010, Jason Clark and Kathryn Sullivan Alvera joined forces to create ATELIER, a gallery of modern and vintage fashion and art at 714 N. Wells. Located directly north of PROSECCO, ATELIER offers Italian fashion for men and women. vintage couture from Europe’s finest houses art, antiques and bibelots. The dramatic interior, clad in lipstick red silk walls, gorgeous merchandise and superior customer service are yet another triumph of Mr. Clark’s storied career.
