Thank you for inquiring about entertaining at PROSECCO. We are pleased to offer the following opulent environments & special services to complement our delicious food and wine and make your next corporate or social event a smash:

The Main Salotto: Patterned after a stylish watering hole in Venice, the Main Salotto brings a touch of the old world to Chicago’s bustling River North Gallery District. The soft, gold-colored walls, gently gilded ceiling and carved wood chandeliers and sconces capped with ivory silk shades cast a warm glow over the art-laden room. Luxurious golden-colored damask drapes and a collection of crystal and glass objets d’art are reflected in a hand-crafted , mercury mirror-topped 35’ long bar, painted in the style of an 18th century piece of Venetian furniture. Fruit wood lattice back bar stools offer a stylish and comfortable perch from which to enjoy our extensive list of Italian sparkling wines and fine European spirits. The Main Salotto can accommodate 50 – 75 for a variety of daytime business or personal events. One raised platform, framed in silk drapes and a magnificent oil painting, offers a large round table of 8 complete with its own chandelier.

The Doge’s Room: Complete with seating for 8 Guests, the Doge’s Room is a petite, semi-private, three-walled enclave with a large gilded mirror, quilted silk wainscotting and hand-painted corner cabinets filled with Murano glass decanters and antique grappa bottles. A silk lamp by Venetian impresario Mariano Fortuny hangs over the skirted table.

The Piazza Dining Room: The focal point of our first floor private dining room is a magnificent open kitchen. Patterned after an upscale custom kitchen complete with antique cabinets, it is perfect for interacting with our talented Chefs or for various food and wine presentations. There is a granite-topped bar, fronted in quilted sage green leather, and 8 bar stools that offer a fantastic vantage point on the workings of the Prosecco kitchen. Filled with gilded antique kitchenware and luscious foodstuffs from the Italian heartland, the Chef’s counter and its adjacent dining room can seat up to 45 Guests for a bridal shower or corporate dinner party. Three mahogany vitrines showcase Murano glass and watercolors of Venice. An ornate braided skylight makes this the perfect place for a daytime function.

La Cantinella: Our lower-level cache is a lavish and consummately inviting haven for pampering up to 50 of your closest business colleagues or friends. This intimate space, the color of Brunello di Montalcino, is designed for a variety of events — from an upscale San Danielle prosciutto and Prosecco tasting to a convivial rehearsal dinner, gala office holiday party or important corporate meeting. The extravagant decor is accented with gilded mirrors, jade green Chinoiserie lamps and velvet drapes. A glass-walled wine room, framed like a Renaissance masterpiece, allows you to dine amongst the restaurant’s wine collection. One magnificent table can accommodate 16 within the confines of the cellar, with room for another 40 for a sit down dinner, 50 for cocktails and antipasti. Look for La Cantinella in fall of 2008.

Menu & Event Planning: From life’s delicacies, like tartufi bianchi d’Alba to the finest Barolos, let our imaginative Chefs prepare an exquisite menu for you. We’ll be happy to work within your budget, too, to provide the biggest splash for your event dollar. And, our staff of seasoned event planners will be on hand to coordinate all of the small details that make the biggest impact on guests. For Certain Events, A Cash Bar, Where Each Guests Pays for Their Drinks as Ordered, Can be Arranged.
There May Be a Charge for Each Bartender in Lieu of a Guaranteed Minimum Bar Ring.
For a cash bar option there is a $150.00 bar set up fee that is non-negotiable.

Please let us know if you would like us to arrange for a pianist or jazz trio for your upcoming event.

Specialty Cakes, Ice Sculptures
For that certain event, let us help you coordinate a special cake or ice sculpture to “wow” your guests!

Photographers and Videographers
The PROSECCO Private Dining Staff works with some of Chicago’s best photographers and videographers.
We would be pleased to recommend one for your upcoming special event.

Specialty Linens
Our in-house linens are off white. Please let us know if you would like to order special tablecloths, napkins and/or chair covers.

Guest Amenity Bags
Want help providing a special thank you to your guests? Our Private Dining Staff can arrange for gift bags containing
a memento of your special event. Inquire for more details.

Coat Check
Coat check service can be arranged for your event. Please let us know if you would like to sponsor this service.
During the months of November – February, coat check is $1.00 per guest per private event, this fee is non-negotiable.

Valet Parking Services
Valet parking services are available for your event. Should you wish to host this service, arrangements can be made
directly through Wells Street Parking, Inc.

Additional Considerations
Confirmation and Deposit
To secure the space on a definite basis, a deposit of 50% of the estimated charges is required.
In the event the lunch or dinner is canceled, the deposit is fully refundable 30 days or more before the event,
if the event is canceled less than 20 days before the event, the deposit can be applied to another date or refunded in
gift certificates. Less than 10 days prior to the event, the deposit is not refundable.

Food and Beverage Minimum
In order to allow private use of certain areas of the PROSECCO facility, there are food and beverage minimums that vary by the day of the week and the month of the year. Your Private Dining Representative will be happy to discuss these with you.

Room Rental Charge
There is a charge for reserving certain areas of the PROSECCO facility. Depending on the scope of the event,
the room charge may be reduced or eliminated.

Staffing Charge
PROSECCO will provide polite, professional staff for this event based on the guaranteed guest count.
In addition, one (1) manager per floor will be on hand for the event.

Sales Tax and Service Charge
The sales tax for food & beverage in the City of Chicago is 10.50%. The service charge is 22.5% on the individual food and beverage charges, not on the sales tax. All prices in proposal are without sales tax & service charge.

Guaranteed Guest Count
The guaranteed guest count is due 72 business hours in advance of the function.
The host is responsible for this count, unless the actual guest count is higher, in which case the higher figure applies.
In some cases, a minimum guaranteed guest count will be needed.

The balance of the account can be paid with a valid credit card or cash. With advance notification,
a personal or business check may be used.

The quoted prices reflect the current economic conditions and are subject to change.
